Rosa - a life of roses (UK)

November 2019 will see the eagerly awaited launch of Rosa; a new book by Janie Pirie containing 36 of her most captivating illustrations of roses. In its scope and execution, Rosa can be seen as a worthy descendent from the astonishing portrayals of roses by the renowned 18th Century botanical painter Redouté.

Over 3 years in the making, Rosa has evolved into a beautiful example of the bookbinder's art. Hardbound with a protective slipcase and printed on premium quality paper stock, the inks bring each rose to life as their petals glow with exquisite depth and detail.

This initial publication of ROSA will be a limited edition of 500 copies and priced at £100.00. As a special thank you to her supporters, the first 250 orders will be signed by the artist, numbered and include an A4 print of one of Janie's favourite rose portraits; 'Comte de Champagne'. This special collecters edition will be priced at £120.00 and will be available as long as stocks last.
